philosophy of psychology vs philosophy of mind or neuroscience

the study of the psyche = the study of anything that has life, including botany, biological, zoology

apparently, some languages don't have a word for mind

consciousness

intentionality = that mental states are about things, can't just believe you have to believe something

the long past of psychology goes back beyond aristotle, plato and homer

Puzzled by Ladyman of Feminist - Psychology by Physiology of Philosophy

scientific vs folk/common-sense psychology lecture 2

Muller nemo psychologus nisi physiologus - nobody can be a psychologist unless hes a physiologist

Dawkins 3 heroes: Shakespeare, Newton + Darwin
